IMAGINARY SOURCES OF SUFI TEACHINGS

This article analyzes the ideological and source foundations that have played an important role in the formation and development of the doctrine of Sufism. In particular, the role of the Holy Quran and hadiths in Sufism, the spiritual and moral essence of such concepts as ilmi laduniy, dhikr, repentance, asceticism, trust in Allah, and riyazat are highlighted. Also, the lifestyle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions is interpreted as a criterion for mystical perfection. The author scientifically substantiates Sufism as an integral part of the Islamic religion and its teachings that lead a person to spiritual purification and perfection.
