Abstract

Currently, an increase in the number of road traffic accidents is being observed in our country. This
article analyzes issues of criminal liability предусмотрed under Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic
of Uzbekistan. In particular, the objective and subjective elements of this crime, as well as circumstances significant
for its qualification, are scientifically examined. Additionally, the article analyzes problems related to cases where
the victim in road traffic accidents is a close relative of the виновный driver, and puts forward substantiated
proposals and recommendations for addressing these issues.
