В статье рассматривается ряд общих проблем, с которыми сталкиваются иностранные студенты во время обучения в Узбекистане на примере Ургенчского филиала Ташкентской медицинской академии. Среди них выявляются связи между характеристиками стран, куда приезжают иностранные студенты, и основными этапами их адаптации.
