This article analyzes the importance, methods and effective approaches to the formation of critical thinking skills of future foreign language teachers. Critical thinking is an integral part of pedagogical activity, it ensures interactivity of the educational process, helps the teacher to develop innovative approaches. The article examines the importance of modern educational technologies in the development of critical thinking skills, organizing problem situations in training and strengthening the professional competence of teachers
