Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of transformational educational technologies and reveals their connection with the competency-based approach. Transformative education serves the formation of such competencies as changing the thinking paradigm of the student, in-depth learning based on reflection, as well as independent decision-making in real-life situations. Combining a competency-based approach with transformational educational technologies is an important tool for improving the quality and effectiveness of education. The study used methods of conceptual analysis, comparison, and theoretical modeling.
