This article gives the information about translation, in particular, works carried out in the field of literary translation, theoretical and practical activities. Today, in Uzbekistan, attention has been paid to the theoretical issues of literary translation and as a result, this field has been studied in depth. Various definitions and opinions given by linguists and translators in the field of translation and literary translation serve to reveal its main features.
