TEACHING POETRY USING CRITICAL THINKING DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES

Abstract

this article presents a lesson model based on the comparative study of Uzbek and Russian poetry using strategies and methods of developing critical thinking technology. The article examines the methodology of using this model and its role in the development of critical thinking in students. The proposed model allows students to analyze and compare poems, develop their own conclusions and interpretations, develop critical thinking and reasoning skills. It promotes active learning and the development of students' independent thinking and critical reflection skills. The presented lesson model is of practical importance for effective study of poems and development of critical thinking in students.
