Abstract

This study aims to compare the structural-semantic characteristics of word combinations in the English and Uzbek languages. Through a comprehensive analysis of various linguistic features, including syntactic structure, semantic relationships, and collocational patterns, this research sheds light on the similarities and differences between the two languages in terms of how words combine to form meaningful units. The findings offer valuable insights into the linguistic peculiarities of English and Uzbek, providing a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms that govern word combinations in each language.
