This article discusses the concept of mass media, their role in the development of New Uzbekistan, the activities of mass media and the main tasks assigned to them. The article also discusses the fact that the influence of the mass media on society is significantly increasing in the course of today's globalization, the role of public opinion in the development of a democratic society and its reflection in the mass media.
