In this article, the theoretical basis of teaching philosophical subjects in higher educational institutions is researched, and attention is focused on determining the possibilities of effective use of modern pedagogical technologies in teaching this subject. The main goal is to focus students' attention on the current problems of today's philosophy, to form their attitude to these problems, to try to develop methods of solving these problems, to strengthen their independent attitude towards existing views and the ability to think correctly.
