Abstract

In this article, the conceptual metaphors analyzed in the materials of the language discourse of personal development and their translations into the Uzbek language were considered. The anthropocentric character inherent in personality-developing literature directly influenced the types and semantic groups of conceptual metaphors encountered in it. The conceptualization of such topics, especially important for life, as time, life itself, mental activity, emotions, death, is carried out in metaphorical models.
