This article analyzes the effectiveness of applying the gamification methodology in teaching geoinformation technologies and its significance for the educational process. Gamification, i.e., the integration of game elements into the learning process, helps increase student interest in learning activities and boosts motivation. The article examines how gamification methods can be applied in learning geoinformation technologies, explores ways to improve learning efficiency, and enhance students' cognitive activity. Furthermore, it demonstrates the positive impact of gamification on the formation of strong knowledge and the development of practical skills in students. The article provides practical recommendations for teachers and specialists interested in the development of educational technologies.
