DISCOURSE AS AN OBJECT OF LINGUAPRAGMATIC APPROACH

This article analyzes discourse from the perspective of a linguopragmatic approach. Scientific answers are given to questions about the essence of the concepts of discourse and linguopragmatics, their interrelationship, and how discourse can be an object of linguopragmatics. In particular, the analysis is based on questions such as "What is discourse?", "What is linguopragmatics?", "How are these two terms related?", "Can discourse be an object of linguopragmatics?" The article provides analytical examples based on modern linguopragmatics, discourse analysis, and theories of communicative intention.
