This article is dedicated to studying the role of somatic units found in ancient Turkic inscriptions, “Kutadgu Bilig”, “Devonu Lugatit-t-Turk” (DLT), and “Tarjumon” in linguistics, culture, and conceptual thinking. The research employs comparative-historical, linguostatistical, and linguocultural methods to compare body part terms recorded in historical sources with their forms in modern Uzbek. The phonetic and semantic stability, cultural significance, and cognitive profile of somatic units are analyzed. The results demonstrate the continuous linguistic and cultural continuity of somatic units.
