THE IMPORTANCE OF THE STEAM EDUCATION SYSTEM IN TEACHING PHYSICS AND ASTRONOMY

The article highlights the role of the STEAM approach in Uzbekistan's educational reforms, referencing the decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning the improvement of physics education quality and the 'Modern School' state program. The essence of STEAM education is revealed, along with its potential for interdisciplinary integration, the practical application of theoretical knowledge, and the development of students' creative and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, attention is drawn to the strategic goals of STEAM education, such as aligning state educational standards with international requirements and updating educational content.
