This article examines the linguistic models of English noun collocations, their semantic and grammatical features, as well as the challenges of achieving adequacy in their translation into Uzbek. The paper analyzes the structural characteristics of collocations, lexical-semantic discrepancies in translation, and presents the results of a comparative analysis of machine and human translation. Based on the research findings, an effective linguistic model is proposed for the adequate translation of noun collocations into Uzbek.
