This article presents some thoughts on pragmatic problems in developing the communicative competence of future foreign language teachers and their solutions. The article also presents considerations on pragmatic competence and the need for teachers to have special knowledge and skills in teaching pragmatics. Always memorized vocabulary and grammatical rules do not help develop communicative competence. Constantly collecting new English words and phrases found in various literary texts, newspapers, and other media, such as advertising, and using them in practical speech, helps to develop speech easily and quickly.
