The article examines the concept of competence in web application design, its theoretical foundations, and practical significance. In the context of the rapid development of digital education and information technologies, the formation of web application design skills is of great importance. The study highlights the use of programming languages, algorithmic approaches, principles of user interface development, and security issues. In addition, the article presents methodological strategies for enhancing students’ design competence, innovative approaches, and the application of modern educational technologies.
