This article is devoted to studying the social causes of youth interest in drugs and alcoholic beverages and their consequences. It analyzes how society, family environment, peers, and other social factors influence young people’s attraction to these harmful habits. The article also examines the negative effects of drug and alcohol use on health, education, and social relationships.
