ANALYSIS OF NATIONAL LEGISLATION ON THE PREVENTION OF CRIMES COMMITTED BY MINORS

This article comprehensively analyzes the national legislative system in the field of crime prevention among minors in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The author conducts a scientific and practical analysis of the laws "On the Prevention of Neglect and Delinquency among Minors" (2010), "On Guarantees of the Rights of the Child" (2008), "On State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan" (2016), and "On Crime Prevention," as well as the relevant provisions of the Family, Administrative, and Criminal Codes. The results of the analysis reveal that, although national legislation has established legal, social, and preventive foundations for juvenile delinquency, in practice there are shortcomings such as weak interdepartmental coordination, the predominantly control-oriented nature of the prevention system, and insufficient implementation of psychological and social services.
