The article analyzes the legal and institutional mechanisms used by foreign countries to ensure gender equality. It highlights the effectiveness of tools such as equal opportunity frameworks and public oversight applied in Scandinavian nations and European Union member states. The study also examines persistent challenges, including labor market inequality and the underrepresentation of women in decision-making processes. The research demonstrates the significance of international experience for improving gender equality policies and legislation in Uzbekistan. Overall, the article substantiates the potential for integrating advanced international practices into national implementation mechanisms.
