FORMATION METHODS OF GAS INDUSTRY TERMS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

This research is devoted to the analysis of the formation methods of gas industry terminology in English and Uzbek languages. It explores the creation of terms through word formation, word combinations, abbreviations, borrowings, and the use of native words. In both languages, these processes have developed in accordance with scientific and technological progress and international standards. In Uzbek, gas industry terms were initially borrowed through Russian, but the creation of national variants has become more active in recent years. English remains the main source of international terminology. The study emphasizes the harmony between national and international approaches in enriching the terminological system. As a result, gas industry terms play an important role in strengthening the scientific potential of the Uzbek language and facilitating international communication.
