Abstract

This article analyzes the issue of determining the effectiveness of multimedia tools in teaching history in higher education institutions. The study studies the impact of multimedia-based educational processes on the development of students' cognitive activity, historical thinking, critical thinking, and media culture. Also, through experimental and test studies, the didactic capabilities and practical results of multimedia tools in the educational process are evaluated. The results obtained serve to draw scientific conclusions on improving the methodology of history education and the effective organization of a digital learning environment.
