This article analyzes of some professional lexicons in the lexical fund of the English and Uzbek languages are cross-analyzed. In addition, the linguistic, national and cultural characteristics of the words related to the profession and their meaning in folk proverbs were analyzed, and the similarities and differences of the proverbs were proved on the basis of examples.
