THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF FORMING EMOTIONAL AND COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCIES IN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

This article examines the development of emotional and communicative competencies in medical students through the development of emotional intelligence based on a competency-based approach. Communicative competence is considered a pressing issue, revealing the essence of the modern process and the specific features of personal development as a manifestation of civic culture and the moral qualities of future medical professionals. To provide a theoretical and methodological understanding of the development of emotional and communicative competencies in medical students, defining the boundaries of the concepts of "communication" and "communicative competence," and analyzing them scientifically in the context of medical education. To systematize various theoretical approaches to emotional intelligence and their relationship with communication. Conclusions are drawn regarding the scientific and practical interpretation of the problem and the identification of methodological directions leading to its solution. In studying the structure of the categories of "competence" and "competence," several approaches can be identified. The authors believe that an activity-based approach is promising, viewing competence as both a manifestation in professional activity and its foundation. In this case, competence is understood as a system of human resources necessary for the implementation of effective actions within a specific process.
