Maqolada YUNESKO tomonidan madaniy merosni himoya qilishga qaratilgan konvensiyalarning ishlab chiqilishi va amaliyotda qoʻllanilishi, davlatlar oʻrtasida xalqaro hamkorlikni rivojlantirish orqali tinchlik va xavfsizlikni mustahkamlashga qaratilgan faoliyatini yoritadi. YUNESKOning normativ-huquqiy hujjatlar ishlab chiqishdagi roli, xalqaro konvensiyalarni qabul qilish mexanizmlari, milliy komissiyalar bilan oʻzaro hamkorlik shakllari, Markaziy Osiyo mintaqasi va Oʻzbekiston misolida YUNESKOning moddiy madaniy merosni muhofaza qilish, targʻib etish va barqaror rivojlanish bilan integratsiyalashgan siyosati tahlil qilingan.
