In this article, the author examines the concept of "spiritual humanism." The analysis of the key qualities of a humane teacher is made. It is emphasized that humane pedagogy is not just a friendly attitude towards students, but a conscious choice to see in each child a personality, a carrier of a unique inner world. Spiritual humanism presupposes respect for human dignity, faith in goodness, and the pursuit of inner freedom for both the student and the teacher. The work examines the works of leading humanist educators such as S.A.Amonashvili, V.A.Sukhomlinsky and others.
