IMPROVING THE MECHANISM OF DEVELOPING COGNITIVE COMPETENCES IN FUTURE TEACHERS BASED ON INTERDISCIPLINARY CONNECTIONS

The article considers the problem of improving the mechanism for developing cognitive competencies in future teachers based on interdisciplinary connections. The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop a wide range of cognitive skills in modern teachers, such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and information analysis. The paper presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of developing cognitive competencies in pedagogical education, identifies the features of implementing an interdisciplinary approach, develops and experimentally tests a model for improving the mechanism for developing cognitive competencies based on interdisciplinary connections. The results of the experimental study confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed model and showed significant progress in developing cognitive competencies in students studying under the developed program. The results can be used in pedagogical universities to improve the educational process and train competitive specialists.
