The article is devoted to both general and specific issues related to the adequate translation of journalistic texts from Russian into Karakalpak. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to observe stylistic, grammatical, and cultural norms in the interlingual transmission of newspaper vocabulary, as well as the growing role of national media in the modern information space. Particular attention is paid to the role of adjectives as a stylistically and functionally significant part of speech that influences the emotional and semantic structure of journalistic texts.
