The emergence of printing in Khorezm is directly related to the lithographic institute, created in 1874 on the initiative of Muhammad Rahimkhan Feruz. In its activities, the great role of the first Uzbek lithographer O. Abdalov, who contributed to the development of lithography, is emphasized. Based on this, the article reflects the creation of the newspaper "Sun of the Revolution", information about lithography, which became the basis of the periodical press, and O. Abdalov, issues that were in the center of attention of the newspaper, socio-political and spiritual-educational news, processes that covered the history of the region. The article analyzes the role of the newspaper "Sun of the Revolution" in the study of the history of Khorezm, the content of the headings, articles and news from the pages of the newspaper.
