The article examines the problem of noumenal freedom in Immanuel Kant’s philosophy and its current
interpretations in modern philosophy in the context of the antinomic contradiction with phenomenal
determinism. Kant’s mechanism for resolving the conflict between freedom and necessity through transcendental
idealism is analyzed. Contemporary interpretations (Korsgaard, Abaci, Stang, and others) explore the connection
of noumenal freedom to issues of moral responsibility, philosophy of mind, and determinism. The article is based
on Kant’s key works and recent research, emphasizing the practical significance of noumenal freedom.
