SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, AND CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT: FROM HISTORY TO THE PRESENT

The article examines the factors leading to women's economic freedom, their support in the labor market and workplaces, economic policies and their role in society, and how these changes affect the development of society. Also included are cultural values, traditional norms, and cultural initiatives undertaken to combat them. Today, the results of global and national initiatives to ensure gender equality and reduce violence against women are discussed. The article emphasizes the importance of supporting women as an integral part of development in all spheres of society and reflects on the measures that need to be implemented in this regard in the future.
