This article is devoted to the study of linguistic, stylistic and cultural aspects of onomastic units in English and Uzbek. The study analyzes the functional properties, semantic aspects and cultural differences of onomastic units. While the prevalence of onomastic units associated with global events and technological innovations in English was found, it was shown that units expressing historical heritage and religious values prevail in Uzbek. The analysis of toponyms, anthroponyms and symbolic units revealed the cultural specificities of the two languages. The results of the analysis emphasize that onomastic units in the two languages are of great importance not only in linguistics, but also in reflecting and preserving culture. The study creates a basis for a comparative analysis of onomastic units with other languages and a deeper study of their application possibilities in the future.
