Ushbu maqola ingliz tilini o‘qitish (ELT) kontekstida gender tadqiqotlari va tilshunoslikning kesishishini o‘rganadi. Mavjud adabiyotlarga tayangan holda, maqola tildan foydalanish va o‘zlashtirishda jinsning rol o‘ynash usullarini o‘rganadi. Keyin u genderni qamrab oluvchi tildan foydalanishni rag‘batlantirish strategiyalarini va tilni o‘qitish materiallariga jinsni integratsiyalash usullarini ko‘rib chiqib, ELTga gender tadqiqotlarini qo‘llashni o‘rganadi.
